Krishna, Nepal's Sweet Lord
Krishna is revered today in many forms: a teacher and philosopher, but also as a mischievous child and ardent lover. His popularity sawa surge in the West during the 60's popularized by the pop band the Beatles, as the go "Lord" to during the times of the Vietnam War when there was international unrest. Krishna’s teachings to the west at a time was solace to young people who were disillusioned with war, racial inequality and consumerism. Today he is still revered in Nepal amongst other places in the region.

The beautiful Changu Narayan is an ancient Hindu and Buddhist temple, located on a hilltop of Changu (also called Dolagiri) in Changunarayan Municipality of Bhaktapur District, Nepal. The temple is considered to be built in the 4th century AD and is one of the oldest Hindu temples in Nepal. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, one of three principal deities in Hinduism.[
